Course Description: Interested in developing your acting and speech arts skills? Don’t have enough time to commit to our performance-based musical theatre course? This is the course for you! Students will participate in drama activities and games and learn repertoire to help them develop skills in drama and speech arts including improvisation, poetry, prose, mime, storytelling, and scene work.
Who: This course is for participants ages 8 to 16 years old (as of September 9, 2026). No prior theatre experience is required.
Where: Classes take place at the Swamp Donkey Theatre in Bragg Creek.
When: Classes take place on Wednesday evenings from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m.
Classes start on September 9 and end on December 9, 2026 (12 classes in total).
Note there are no classes on the following dates:
- October 14, 2026 (A Taste of Things to Come Tech Rehearsal)
- October 21, 2026 (A Taste of Things to Come Performance)
- November 18, 2026 (Matilda Jr. Tech Rehearsal)
Requisite Forms: Participants must complete the requisite youth forms in order to participate in the course. Students are NOT permitted to participate until ALL forms are submitted.

- Code of Conduct: Minors
- General Waiver Form: Minors
- Image and Name Consent: Minors
- Medical and Emergency Contact Information: Minors
